I offer an initial assessment where you can meet me & talk about your concerns & reasons for seeking counselling and to see how you get on with me. If you feel comfortable then I offer an initial contract of 6 weeks after which we can review how things are going. I am a qualified social worker, teacher & lecturer in addition to being a counsellor/psychotherapist. I have worked as medical social worker & I have a particular interest in health related issues. I have also worked in education for many years & as a counsellor in the NHS, I have a passionate interest in supporting people to maximise their potential in life – through education, social support, counselling support & individual endeavour. My practice is well supported with transport links. High Barnet is on the Northern line & there are several bus routes. I offer concessions to counselling/therapy trainees & those on a low income. I am happy to have an initial discussion over the phone & to answer any questions that you may have prior to meeting if you so wish.
