Therapy can be a life changing experience, a time for growth, exploration and personal development. You may be coming in the hope to resolve some past or current experiences that you find overwhelming, or you may feel confused, lost, stuck, experience difficult symptoms or unhelpful behaviours that inhibit you living life to the full. Whatever your reasons are for starting therapy, we will work together to find the right approach for you.
Being an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, I bring together many pathways that can offer different approaches, tools and techniques tailored to fit the needs of each client. Integrative therapy is a progressive therapy offering flexibility and builds on the latest understanding of psychotherapy, neuroscience and how our mind, bodies and spirits are all connected.
It is fundamental that you find a therapist you can work with and trust. The better the relationship between you and your therapist the more likely you are going to benefit and see changes in your life through your coping strategies, relationships, thought patterns, behaviours and/or perspective.
I deeply respect difference and welcome people of any gender identity, sexuality, ethnicity, background or with any aspect of diversity. Respect and compassion is the cornerstone of my practice.
I trained at the The Minster Centre, a leading Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy training college. My qualifications are a BACP-accredited Diploma in Integrative Counselling, an Advanced Diploma and an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am an accredited UKCP integrative psychotherapist and a registered member of the BACP and abide by their ethical frameworks.
